THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CULTURAL DISTRICT DESIGNATION (2021-2022)

 

The Town of Adams and the Adams Arts Advisory Board are taking a proactive role in promoting the cultural assets of our town. AAAB has made a commitment to take the leadership in the establishment of a State sanctioned Cultural District in downtown Adams.

The benefits of establishing a Cultural District designation include the following:

 

• Establish the district as a tourist destination 

• Attract artists and cultural enterprises 

• Encourage business and job development 

• Preserve and re-use historic buildings  

• Enhance property values  

• Foster local cultural development
